Is there a trial?
Yes. The trial overlays a watermark on the video every few minutes. Other features match the licensed product. More details: Trial Info.
What kinds of licenses are there?
After the trial, you can buy a Per-Event license (7 days, up to 6 streams) on the Store. For ongoing use, request a Permanent quote.
What is Bonding?
One encode over several uplinks — backup or aggregation (Ethernet, LTE, Starlink, dual-WAN). Setup: How to Bonding.
What is Shared Input?
Shared Input lets you capture one source and send it as several streams. Nothing to enable — it works by default, as an architectural feature of the product. For example, capture an SDI feed with 8 stereo pairs (different languages) and send 8 SRT streams to 8 studios, each with the language they need. You do not need 8 SDI inputs: one capture is enough. Details in Add/Edit Stream.
Can the encoder run in the cloud?
Yes. For example, our clients deploy SRT Streamer PRO in Amazon Cloud to capture NDI sources and distribute them over SRT.
